Wonders in The Land of The Pyramids Egypt

Egyptian pyramids are ancient stone structure located in the Egyptian pyramid-shaped.

In 2009, there were a total of138 pyramids discovered in Egypt. Largely built as tombs for pharaohs and their partner countries in old age and in the midst of ancient Egypt.

Pyramids of Egypt are the first known to a place called Saqqara, located northwest of Memphis. The first one is the Pyramid of Djoser which was built during the third empire. This pyramid and surrounding compound designed by designer named Imhotep, and are generally regarded as the oldest in the world built colossal structures of dressed stone. Estimates of the number of workers to build the pyramids vary from a few thousand, and twenty-five thousand to 200,000.

The most famous Egyptian pyramids found at Giza, on the border of the capital Cairo. Many of the pyramids of Giza are considered among the largest structures ever built. In Giza, the pyramid of Khufu is the largest pyramid in Egypt. It is the only existing ancient wonders.

I will try to provide detailed information about some of the famous pyramids in Egypt

a) Khufu Pyramid of Giza is the site; quite small pyramid of Khafre Pyramid of Menkaure relatively modest size with a total group of smaller, which is known as the "Queen of the pyramid"; Great Sphinx, one of the wonders of ancient techniques located next.

Chephren pyramid of the three pyramids was just part of the unique, elegant finish limestone near its peak. This pyramid appears to be greater than the pyramid of Cheops near as highs and steeper angle available for the structure, as a matter of fact, it is smaller in volume and height.

b) zawyet el-Aryan - This site is in the midst of Giza and Abu Sir. It is the location for two unfinished ancient pyramids. North Building Owner Nebka regarded as the Pharaoh, while South structure, known as the pyramid layer can be dedicated for the third dynasty pharaoh Khaba, which is a close Sekhemkhet heir.

c) Licht - Two major pyramids are known to have built in Licht, they belonged to his father Sesostris I and Amenemhat I. The first is surrounded by a small pyramid of ten small frame.
